Ardent Bakers, Big Lou’s Donuts, Company X (Launching soon), and Company Y (Launching soon) have developed their respective recipes [i.e., Intellectual Property] and mastered the techniques in producing premium quality frozen cakes, donuts, bread, and other baked products. Their 45+ years of combined and proven expertise will be their crucial advantage over their competitors in providing product quality and cost value, which will support their customer’s business scalability and sustainability. In addition, the group will focus on supplying the franchise groups in SFIO. Furthermore, it will expand its business in the catering supply of wholesale products to other firms in the region.

The food manufacturing group of SFIO has innovated and mastered several cutting-edge techniques and technology in producing quality products with the highest efficiency. The group owns the SMART-FREEZE technology, a disruptive innovation that significantly reduces product wastage and eliminates the need to have multiple commissaries, which is the limiting factor in scaling the Epiphany Café brand in a particular country. The group also aims to become the market leader in offering low-carb treats as part of its three-year plan through collaboration with international low-carb communities.

We are proud to announce our Smart-Freeze ‘disruptive’ technology has eliminated the ‘limiting factor’ to scale the Epiphany Café brand nationwide, without having multiple commissaries without compromising the quality of pillow-soft donuts and premium cakes.

We have innovated our premix flour and toppings for our cakes and donuts in the last five years that have enabled our donuts and cakes to be frozen up to six months (fully glazed). Once thawed in ambient temperature for less than an hour, the ‘fresh-like’ quality and shelf life of the “pillow-soft” donuts are consistent for most of the flavours.

With the Smart-Freeze technology, donut and cakes wastages in stores can be minimized below 3% or lesser using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) approach. Several NZ and AUS renowned brands have acknowledged our key difference in the market.

EXPORT BUSINESS

Over the years, our group has established strong relationships with other food manufacturers and suppliers. Our food manufacturing division has signed exclusive distribution contracts with selected partners to export their products internationally. Some of these products are the NZ Manuka honey, Italian gelato, 5-in-1 instant coffee, Long Beach products, etc.

Ardent Bakers is an MPI (Ministry for Primary Industries) approved centralised factory and warehouse located in Hamilton New Zealand. It supplies frozen donuts, muffins, scones and cakes to the Epiphany Franchise Group. Ardent Bakers also supplies wholesale products to multi-store retail brands such as BP, Caltex, Mobil, GAS, Jayen Foods Concepts, Circle-K, Metromart, Classic Bake House, and other hospitality businesses i.e. cafés, hotels, restaurants.

Big Lou’s Donuts is a successful Australian Company which was formed in 2008. Big Lou’s specializes in producing a wide range of commercial donuts for retail, wholesale, events and corporate markets. Big Lou’s donuts are available in supermarkets such as Coles and Aldi in Australia. Big Lou’s modern donut factory in Melbourne can produce more than 9,000 donuts per hour.

Marks Quality Cakes

Marks Quality Cakes (MQC) is a manufacturer of high-quality cakes, muffins, slices and fine food products for more than 28 years. Based in Williamstown North, Melbourne. MQC distributes its premium cakes and fine food products throughout Victoria and all Australian capital cities via its distribution and retail network. MQC has also Gluten Free & Vegan options.

Classic Bake House

Classic Bake House is a wholesale-bakery brand with more than 12 retail branches in Auckland. The company strives to provide the tastiest pastries, cakes and baked goods using quality ingredients and mostly Asian flavours. It has a team of experienced bakers and staff, operating since 2003.
CBH will produce premium breads and cakes for the Epiphany group from 2021.
