FRANCHISE BUSINESS DIVISION

There are three franchise groups included in the Franchise Division of SFIO, namely Epiphany Café, Company Y (Launching soon), and Company Z (Launching soon). Epiphany Café’s global expansion is part of SFIO’s pilot project.

Epiphany Café, well known for its pillow-soft, artisanal gourmet donuts, delicious frappes, and the finest coffee, was born from a love of coffee and donuts. Epiphany was recognized as the Best Emerging Franchise System of the Year by the Franchise Association of NZ in 2018. Epiphany was also a Finalist for Community Involvement Award. Epiphany has cascaded across New Zealand with its proven system and is now expanding in Australia and Asia. We have collaborated with Classic Bake House and MetroMart brands in New Zealand, and the Epiphany brand will be present in these two franchise brands in a “store within a store” concept.

SFIO’s Franchise Business Division has adopted a diversified business model, from the traditional franchise system concepts to micro-business models through the newly developed license system concepts that are suitable to meet customer needs and the “new normal” in the business arena. This diversified business model aims to provide multi-economic opportunities which will enable and empower entrepreneurs in different tiers in the market. The parallel expansion strategy of the Franchise and License models is the key to Epiphany Café’s strategic expansion in the global market.

THE FOUR CORE PRODUCT MODEL OF EPIPHANY CAFÉ

The Epiphany Café franchise business offers four core products namely: Donuts, Cakes, Bread and Coffee. Proven capabilities from partner companies within SFIO have been integrated into the franchise business of Epiphany Café as a very unique value proposition of the brand. Enabled by our SMART-FREEZE Technology, the franchise business operations are streamlined while providing a variety of product offerings to customers without compromising quality. A license system was also developed for each of the core products which is part of the micro-business strategy of the group.

Experiences gained from several countries which include the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, India, and New Zealand.
